Dr. Jerry Flatt

Dr. Jerry Flatt is the oldest of six children, and was born and reared in middle Tennessee (Sparta – White County). His father was a coal miner, trucker, carpenter and lighting industry employee and his mother was employed in the garment industry and a busy dedicated homemaker.

Dr. Flatt attended White County High School and received his B.S. in Animal Science at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in Auburn, Alabama.

Dr. Flatt resides in Hendersonville with his wife Linda, a librarian with the Sumner County School System, and two children, Steve and Amanda. The family attends First Baptist Church of Hendersonville.

Dr. Flatt has practiced medicine at The Animal Clinic with partner Dr. Shannon since his graduation. He enjoys all aspects of Veterinary medicine, especially orthopedic surgery and internal medicine. He enjoys hiking, traveling, hunting, family activities, and especially likes fishing.
